Third Sight Studio · Website information
Terms of Service
How this website works, what your support includes, and the terms for ordering directly from the studio.
Effective and updated October 29, 2026
The studio and these terms
These Terms apply to third-sight.com, its public features, and purchases made directly through this website. “We,” “us” and “the studio” mean Third Sight Studio; “you” means the visitor or buyer. For help, email support@third-sight.com or use our contact page.
Read these Terms before ordering and keep a copy. The package description, price, options, delivery information and refund terms shown before payment form part of your purchase. Those specific promises and any consumer rights that cannot be excluded by law take priority over a conflicting general statement here. Your order keeps its agreed benefits and price.
Using the website
You may browse the public website and use its features for their intended, lawful purposes. To buy, you must be legally able to enter a purchase contract and authorized to use the payment method. If you are not old enough to make that contract, an authorized parent or guardian must place the order.
Give accurate order, email, sizing and delivery information. Keep download links and order-access details secure. Do not misuse another person’s information, impersonate the studio, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious software, interfere with checkout or other visitors, or use automated requests to bypass security or purchase limits. Nothing here prohibits activity expressly permitted by applicable law.
Pre-orders and production crowdfunding
Our campaign uses reward-based crowdfunding. PC pre-orders help pay for Vox Equinox’s artwork, development, animation, music and testing. The Studio Edition also includes merchandise. Your payment supports production and secures the items and benefits listed in your package.
We collect payment when you order and use it as production progresses. We do not hold the funds until a target is reached. Calling this “support,” “crowdfunding” or a “pledge” does not change our delivery, cancellation or refund obligations. Purchases do not offer equity, profit sharing, financial returns or a charitable tax deduction.
Your PC pre-order and purchased merchandise do not depend on stretch goals. Each order follows the delivery schedule and terms shown for its items. Missing a funding target does not automatically cancel or refund a valid PC or merchandise order. Optional extras follow their published milestone conditions. The cancellation and refund policy explains your options and consumer rights.
We may stop accepting new direct pre-orders or crowdfunding payments at any time, including if a publisher gets involved or studio or game rights are sold or transferred. Paid purchases will still be fulfilled as promised, with applicable cancellation, refund and consumer rights preserved.
Cost breakdowns are planning estimates after the costs listed alongside them, not audited accounts or guarantees. We may adjust the allocation as production needs change. They do not assign an individual buyer’s payment to a particular expense. We remain responsible for describing the campaign and its spending honestly.
What your package includes
Digital Edition: currently $19.99 USD for one direct-download PC copy of the complete Vox Equinox game at launch, alpha-testing access and a numbered digital studio certificate.
Studio Edition: currently $49.99 USD for the same PC benefits, plus one limited-edition heavyweight drop shoulder oversized fit T-shirt in your selected available size and one limited-edition 18 × 24-inch poster made and signed by the team. Shipping and applicable tax are extra and shown before payment. Check the package options for artwork, sizing and other specifications.
Your Digital or Studio Edition includes the complete Vox Equinox game for PC at launch, alpha-testing access and a numbered digital supporter certificate. The full game does not depend on a funding milestone. Current PC purchases include no Steam key, console copy, mobile copy or physical PC game.
Digital and Studio share the first 1,500 numbered PC pre-orders. This allocation is separate from the early-bird price plan. An item in a cart or an unfinished checkout is not a completed paid order. Certificates recognize a supporter edition; they do not grant ownership of the studio, its intellectual property or an investment interest.
Stretch goals and future console pledges
Stretch goals describe work or additional benefits the studio aims to fund. A goal does not replace the benefits already included in your purchased package, confirm a platform release, or create an entitlement beyond its published conditions.
Your full PC game and purchased merchandise do not depend on stretch goals.
If the $50,000 Community milestone is reached, every paid pre-order backer can opt in to have a chosen name included in the game. The location of the tribute, submission dates and name guidelines will be published before names are collected. The goal also provides ten opportunities for top backers to collaborate with the studio on an NPC or enemy design. Selection criteria, creative guidelines and submission timing will be published before opportunities are allocated. Designs need studio approval; neither benefit guarantees a particular character role.
Console pledges and payments are closed. Before they can open, we need the funding milestones, platform approvals, development readiness, and confirmed reward and fulfillment terms. Reaching the $30,000 port-development milestone alone cannot open console pledges. The $150,000 milestone would help us explore whether a physical console edition is feasible. We still need to confirm production, packaging, distribution and shipping costs, platform approvals and delivery arrangements. This target does not guarantee a physical release, a physical copy or a free upgrade.
Concept artwork only. These images do not confirm a console release or imply platform approval or endorsement. Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5 packaging is labeled “Concept only.” Platform names and marks belong to their owners. Before offering a paid console package, we must confirm its permissions, contents, price and fulfillment terms.
Prices, payment and order records
Prices are in U.S. dollars. Our early-bird prices are $19.99 for Digital and $49.99 for Studio, shared across the first 150 paid PC packages. We plan to raise later pre-order prices in stages toward a $30 PC launch price. Prices are in USD, before shipping and applicable tax. Your completed order keeps the price you paid. Check the itemized package price, shipping, destination and applicable tax at checkout before paying. Your bank may apply currency conversion or other bank charges. There is no recurring subscription in the current pre-order offer.
Stripe processes payment on its hosted checkout page. We do not receive your full card number or security code. Payment verification determines whether an order is completed; an abandoned checkout does not count as a sale. We send an itemized order confirmation after verified payment. If the confirmation does not arrive, check your spam folder and contact the studio with your order reference; do not send full payment-card details.
If there is a pricing or technical error, we will explain it before agreeing on a correction. If we cannot accept or fulfill a paid order, we will notify you and provide the cancellation or refund required by your purchase terms and applicable law. We will not silently raise an agreed price or replace a paid benefit with something materially different.
Game downloads and alpha access
We’ll email your order address a secure download link for the complete PC game on launch day. This is a direct studio download; no Steam key is included. The full-game PC release target is by the end of Q3 2027. It is a development estimate; a pre-order does not provide an immediate download. Review the benefits included in your package.
Alpha testing is separate from the launch-day game download. The estimated testing window is Nov. 30–Dec. 30, 2026; the final date will be confirmed in studio updates. We’ll email your alpha-testing invitation and access instructions 3 days before the confirmed testing date. An alpha build is unfinished and may contain bugs, incomplete features or progress that does not carry into release. Any testing-specific instructions will be provided before participation.
Alpha testing requires following @voxequinox on Instagram ↗. Join Discord for updates ↗.
The Instagram requirement applies only when it is disclosed before payment and forms part of the agreed alpha-access terms.
Keep your order email current and contact us if access fails. PC specifications may change during testing; check the system requirements and rating information before release. Planned third-party stores have their own approval process, availability and terms.
Physical rewards and shipping
Allow an estimated 30 calendar days after payment for T-shirt processing and packing. Shipping time is additional and varies by destination and carrier. For unreleased items, that preparation period starts when the items become available. Any future physical console edition will have separate production and delivery terms. We will communicate a material change to the shipment estimate and follow any applicable delay-notice and cancellation requirements.
We ship physical rewards to the 50 U.S. states and DC, plus 29 international destinations. Select an available country in package options before adding a physical reward to your cart. U.S. shipping is $9.99 per physical reward set to the 50 states and DC. Economy international shipping is $19.99 per physical reward set to supported destinations. Confirm your country in package options before checkout. Postage and protective packing are included. We cover shipping costs above your flat price. Third Sight Studio covers import tariffs and customs duties on physical shipments. Applicable sales tax and VAT are separate. Your selected destination and the final itemized shipping charge are shown in the package/cart process and at checkout. An estimate does not authorize an unlisted destination or override carrier, import or export restrictions.
Provide an accurate delivery address and contact us promptly if it changes. Tell us about a missing, damaged, incorrect or defective shipment so we can investigate and provide the remedy required by law. A carrier handoff does not remove any responsibility or delivery rights that applicable law places on the seller. Return instructions and any return-postage responsibility will be explained under the applicable policy and consumer rules before you send an item back.
Cancellations, refunds and consumer rights
Our voluntary policy: You can request a full refund within 30 days of placing your order. After 30 days, orders are non-refundable, except where required by law.
The 30-day policy does not limit your rights under consumer law. For covered merchandise that has not shipped, delays or an unfulfilled order may give you cancellation and refund rights. You may also have rights concerning withdrawal, non-delivery, faulty goods, inaccurate descriptions or digital content that does not meet legal requirements. Calling an order crowdfunding or a pledge does not waive those rights.
For merchandise covered by shipment-timing rules, we will give the required notice and seek any required consent if we cannot ship on time. If we cannot fulfill the order, you decline a delay, or we do not receive required consent, we will cancel and promptly refund the affected unshipped items as required. Missing a stretch goal alone does not mean we cannot fulfill your order.
Where UK or EEA distance-selling rights apply, consumers generally have 14 days after receiving physical goods to notify the seller of a change-of-mind cancellation, with a further 14 days to return them. Applicable refunds include standard outbound delivery where required. Limited-edition stock, an ordinary shirt or a stock poster signed by the team is not automatically exempt as a personalized product. Return-postage charges apply only when permitted and properly disclosed. Other destinations may provide different or additional rights.
Where a statutory digital-content withdrawal right applies, it generally runs from the contract date. We do not treat placing a pre-order, accepting general website terms or receiving an alpha invitation as a waiver. Where early digital supply can lawfully end that right, the required separate express consent, acknowledgment and confirmation must be obtained before relying on that exception. Rights concerning faulty or non-conforming content remain.
To request cancellation, a refund or help with a problem, email support@third-sight.com. You can also use Instagram or Discord through the studio’s contact page. Include your order reference, order email, affected items and what you are requesting. These are support routes, not restrictions on any valid statutory notice, payment-provider remedy, regulator complaint or court process.
Development progress and material changes
Vox Equinox is in development. Footage, concept art, provisional specifications and release targets show current plans and may change as work and testing progress. Supporting production involves uncertainty about timing and final implementation; it is not a promise that every preview or proposed feature will appear unchanged.
That uncertainty does not permit us to remove paid commitments without explanation or deny required remedies. We will communicate material delivery or package changes and any options or refunds required by law. If a promised item cannot be supplied, we will address that with the affected purchaser rather than simply treating the payment as a non-refundable donation.
Public totals and badges are informational and can take time to update. Sales figures count paid packages under the methodology shown on the campaign, not unique backers or every included game copy. Optional activity counts represent consenting active browser connections, not a verified count of unique people.
Artwork, music, game and website rights
Website materials, game assets, artwork, music, logos and software belong to the studio, their credited creators or other rights holders. Existing license notices and permissions continue to apply, including any separately identified open or Creative Commons licenses. An order transfers the stated product or access rights, not ownership of those underlying creative works.
Do not redistribute protected assets, sell access to another purchaser’s download, remove required credits or present someone else’s work as your own except where a license or applicable law permits the use. Any game-specific license or testing agreement will be provided for the relevant product or build; this website page does not override rights that law or an existing license protects.
Privacy, order emails and other services
Our Cookies & Privacy notice explains browser storage, optional activity counting, information used for orders and the services involved. Optional cookie permission is separate from buying, and refusing it does not prevent an available purchase.
Receipts, delivery instructions, alpha access and important order notices use the checkout email. The checkout also explains the Vox Equinox news and development list and lets you choose “Order emails only.” You can unsubscribe from updates without losing essential order messages or purchased benefits. These Terms are not blanket consent to unrelated marketing.
Stripe, Instagram, Discord and future storefronts operate their own services and policies. Opening them does not mean they endorse this campaign. Their involvement does not remove our obligations as the seller of a direct studio purchase.
Feedback and community contributions
Send only feedback or materials you are entitled to share, and avoid publishing private order or payment information in community channels. Respect other people and their rights. We may moderate abusive, unlawful or infringing submissions and restrict misuse of website or community features.
Chosen-name recognition is opt-in. NPC/enemy collaboration opportunities, if unlocked, will have published selection and creative guidelines before allocation, with any necessary submission and usage permissions agreed before incorporation. Sending ordinary feedback does not transfer ownership of your work or guarantee its inclusion. Restricting abusive access does not cancel valid purchased rights or remove any refund or other remedy required by law.
Availability and responsibility
We aim to keep the website accurate, secure and available, but previews and online features can have errors, interruptions or maintenance periods. A website interruption is not an excuse to disregard a paid order; contact the studio if it affects access or delivery.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or guarantees that cannot lawfully be excluded, or limits remedies for fraud, unlawful conduct, non-delivery or defective products where the law protects you. Development estimates and ordinary technical limitations do not displace those obligations. These Terms impose no blanket waiver of consumer remedies or payment disputes.
Changes, applicable rights and disputes
We may update this page for future website use and future offers, with the revised date shown above. An update does not retrospectively reduce a paid package, change its agreed price, or waive an existing claim. Material changes to an existing order will be communicated with the options and protections required by law.
Mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live remain available. These Terms do not require private arbitration, waive class proceedings or restrict you to an exclusive U.S. court. Any dispute is subject to the courts and applicable laws that have jurisdiction. We encourage you to contact us so we can try to resolve a problem, without making that a barrier to your legal remedies. If a term cannot lawfully apply, the remaining lawful terms continue to operate.
Contact and cancellation notices

The contact page also links to our official Instagram and Discord channels. Ask for a private support conversation when order information is involved.
